Outlaw King is a Scottish historical drama filmed around Scotland about Robert the Bruce and the Scottish Wars of Independence. Written & directed by David Mackenzie and starring Chris Pine, it is the first of a trilogy of films about Robert the Bruce’s life.
The drama follows the epic struggle for the control of Scotland and the Scottish Crown between Robert the Bruce and the English Kings Edward I and II.
